Controls Engineer / Controls Support Engineer - outline specification Job Requirements - System Specification 1. Production of Functional Design Specifications and Software Design Specifications 2. Production of control & instrument drawings including but not limited to P&ID's, single line diagrams and instrument schedules/data sheets. 3. An understanding of pneumatic circuit design would be advantageous 4. Risk assessment of control systems. 5. Liaison with clients and their representatives, including site visits/meetings inUKand overseas. 6. Production of all control system related documentation, including ensuring all documents and drawings are updated to "as built" Job Requirements - Project Execution 1. Specification and procurement of instrumentation and controls for engineering projects. 2. Interface with subcontract panel builders 3. Overseeing of workshop build 4. Inspection and testing of completed control equipment. 5. Factory and site acceptance testing (FAT / SAT). 6. Liaison with clients and their representatives, including site visits/meetings inUKand overseas. 7. Production of all control system related documentation, including ensuring all documents and drawings are updated to "as built" Experience & Qualifications 1. Pharma / chemical / food or other process industries 2. Special purpose machinery 3. Project engineering 4. Site commissioning 5. Atex requirements 6. CE marking and the machinery directive 7. HNC in an electrical discipline 8. Allen Bradley, Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC systems 9. AC/DC motor drive systems 10. Knowledge of single, three phase and low voltage electrical systems. 11.
