Controls Engineer Urgently Required - Long Term Contract

Main duties of the role shall include but will not be limited to:

* Leading and providing the required technical and engineering support for the company's petrochemical facilities, particularly in the areas of Process Control, Process Automation Systems and Emergency Shutdown Systems
* Design and development of control systems
* Testing, Verification and documentation of software beta types and releases
* Coordinate efforts and identify project tasks to be performed in conjunction with the Project Manager
* Work as part of a team and interface with clients , inspection staff, and contractors
* Apply understanding of all client safety policies

Skills / Experience Required:

* 3-5 years experience in a similar role ideally within the petrochemical industry however candidates with extensive experience of control systems engineering from other industries may also be considered.
* Allen Bradley, Siemens, Triconex, HMI, SCADA and safety experience a plus
* PLC programming
* Competent, well-informed and able to perform without supervision
