Controls Engineer

Immediate need for two (2) Control Engineers in the metro Atlanta with waste water pH control system project experience with working knowledge of a food and/or beverage plant. This is for a long term contract assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design system to use gas-phase carbon dioxide to reduce pH and sodium hydroxide to raise pH
- Design system that uses of gravity to convey wastewater through the treatment process by placing the oil/water separator, reactor tanks, and effluent monitoring station below ground
- Design new oil/water separator to remove free oil and grease prior to the pH neutralization steps
- Design programmable logic controller (PLC) will be to control the automated features of the pH control system
- Design pH control system to interface with Wonderware software to monitor and operate the pH neutralization system
- Work directly with client contact and in a team environment

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in design systems for food and/or beverage plants
- PE is required
- AutoCAD 2012 experience
- Experience designing pH control systems for a food and/or beverage plant
- Experience with Coca Cola or Pepsi plants is a plus
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
