Controls Engineer

Controls Engineer needed with 5 years experience in P&ID development and Allen Bradley PLC experience. This is a temp to perm position in South Carolina. You will develop P&IDs, loop sheet design, PLC control system design, DCS/PLC/HMI programming, and field start-up. Paid Per diem for non-local candidates. Apply now!

RESPONSIBILITIES

- PLC / HMI / DCS Control System Programming.
- Multiple aspects of the design, development, installation, field start-up.
- Works closely with the Engineering Team assigned to a project from its design, through to the final customer acceptance and sign off, and for follow up and support services.
- Thoroughly examines and understands all requisite customer supplied specifications in order to develop the functionality of the equipment to meet these specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

- 5 years experience Allen Bradley PLC / HMI / DCS Control System Programming, and P&ID development.
- BS in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
- Experience with equipment start up and commissioning procedures.
- Requires ability to interact effectively with customers and suppliers.
