A Controls and Instrumentation Engineer (CIE) is required for a contract with a leading Energy Company based in Reading for 12 months.

The Controls and Instrumentation Engineer (CIE) will provide controls and instrumentation input into the concept SELECT stage, the FEED and later stages of this ultra High Pressure High Temperature (uHPHT) development project.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Adopt exemplary safety behaviours.
- Development and execution of the pre-sanction Controls and Instrumentation engineering scope using appropriate resources.
- Support the Engineering Manager in assuring that the development meets the client PMS (Project Management System) and (Technical Assurance System) TAS compliance.
- Be the owners of the Controls and Instrumentation elements of the projects Development Basis of Design

UNIQUE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTE

- The CIE will possess experience in concept selection and FEED design processes associated with upstream oil and gas developments.
- Educated to first degree level in a relevant discipline or a chartered member of a relevant engineering institution or international equivalent (u/HPHT or HPHT experience desirable).
- Works collaboratively with the other development team members
- Excellent interpersonal skills are a prerequisite for the position
