Projektbeschreibung

Responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the monthly and quarterly process including financial statement review.

Lead the building of scalable and efficient accounting close process

Ensure accounting systems and processes are continually streamlined via process improvement to achieve greater efficiencies and accuracy

Manage the general ledger and consolidation processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, closing, statements, and schedules.

The project is based in Zurich (and London) and has global scope.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaboration with management, mgmt. support and project mgmt. on gathering key data from all the internal and external units in order to evaluate the current charging situation.

Supporting management and controlling teams on Analysing and interpreting developments and trends through the existing reporting and creating new ad hoc reports.

Collaboration on monitoring the strategic development of L&TS and tracking opportunities to improve and consolidate the control mechanisms (Management Information System).

Analyse the Key Figures (current costs, budget, reporting, charging of cost centres, etc.) and prepare appropriate presentations in order to propose new and consolidated charging solutions.

Evaluate the figures in order to propose the necessary business case to propose new operating models in collaboration with the line and the project management.(Zurich and London)

Collaboration with the controlling team on monitoring all contracts and invoices of the external partners

Collaboration with the controlling team on satisfying ad hoc requests coming from clients and service providers, and on the delivery charging reports.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Progressive experience in accounting and finance.

Prior experience as controller

Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of presenting complex financial information

Strong attention to detail and follow-up.

Strong project management and execution skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

ESSENTIAL:

Appropriate business education and controlling certification.

Strong business acumen and ability to quickly understand business strategy and implications for L&TS

A couple of years of experience in project controlling

Technical knowledge and experience of MS Office tools, particularly Excel, including good skills in Macro Programming, and other controlling software.

Experience working in a large organization

Good communication skills

Excellent spoken and written English & German

DESIRED:

Ability and to analyse strategic and charging data to identify business improvement opportunities and trends.

Pleasure in working in a very complex framework with many dependencies and in developing new ideas and projects

Strong relationship building and consultation skills as well as an ability to ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, key stakeholders and clients.

Previous Bank experience

Experience of working in the Finance/Banking field as controller

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field required. Advanced degree preferred. CPA required.

8-10 years experience required.
