Controller/Accountant (Ref. PS2561)

BRINE SA is currently looking for a CONTROLLER/ACCOUNTANT for our Client in the French part of Switzerland for the following functions:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

-

Accountability for coordination of the monthly close process and general ledger ac-counting activities including accruals, provisions, royalties, scientific office expense review, etc.
-

Responsibility for application of the Accounting Manual.
-

Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and new requirements according to the Accounting Manual.
-

Leading role in timely submission of financial information including general ledger and FCRS. This includes a close coordination with other departments such as Inventory, Intercompany, Customer Service, Supply Chain teams etc.

Ensure high quality monthly reporting through processes such as Balance Sheet and P&L review
-

Responsibility for preparation and review of Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations in line with quality standard
-

Leading role in review and coordination of entire process of reconciliations
-

Strive for best practices and efficiency
-

Responsibility for design and operating effectiveness of internal controls as per Financial Controls Manual
-

Promote a strong and no exception control environment and operate according to Standard Operating Procedures
-

Preparation and/or review of additional external reporting requirements such as Swiss National Bank statistics
-

Key contact person for external auditors providing data and reports required for group and statutory audits
-

Change Managementknowledge of IRIS is a plus.

Strong organization and communication skills demonstrated by results in cross function-al, multi-cultural activities. Ability to drive for results and meet project deadlines.

Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and work in team, to initiate and implement process changes

Challenge the status quo and always look for opportunities to simplify and enhance Finance activities

Knowledge of working on ERP systems
