Control Systems Engineer - Downtown Houston

Responsibilities:

* Interact across multiple disciplines from the point of Inquiry through Startup and Commissioning.
* Coordinate and review all Controls/Automation requirements
* Coordinate and review all technical and commercial requirements with the 3rd party vendors prior to proposal to insure all scope components of the Contract are in the proposal and/or Costing Model.
* Serve as Lead Controls/Automation contact in project meetings between engineering, project management project operations and client.
* Monitor and drive the progress of all Controls/Automation related activities for the projects assigned.
* Coordinating With Mechanical Engineers during PID development,
* Developing Controls System Architectures

Skills/Tools:

* Demonstrated competence developing and administering Allen Bradley PLC based control systems, particularly using Control, Compact and Flex Logix hardware. Allen Bradley Programming (RS Logix5000) and HMI-(RSView) experience required.
* AutoCAD and/or CADWorx experience is a Plus.

Education/Experience:

* A Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering or IT vocational degree
* 1 - 5 years experience in Industrial Automation, preferably with Distributed I/O topologies in the oil and gas industry.

Being Local to Houston Is a plus.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
