Control Systems Engineer

I have an urgent requirement for a Control Systems Engineer to work on a high value and pioneering engineering system.

As a Control Systems Engineer, you would be required to configure PLC Control systems which monitor and control the flow of liquid and as such I am looking for significant experience of working on Dynamic Systems with variable parameters.

You would be expected to design, modify and validate existing code in accordance with IEC 61131 (Structured text or Ladder Logic format) to ensure that it meets control system requirements.

The project is entering the assembly and verification stage. A first draft build of software already exists. The majority of the role will involve bringing this to an operational state, characterising and optimising the control system, supporting control sub-system and control system test/verification, working with engineers to refine start-up/maintenance sequences and producing documentation for customers.
