Control Room Compliance Analyst

My Client a market leading investment bank is looking for a control room analyst to join them in the control room on a 6 month rolling contract. The bank's compliance Control Room undertakes a wide range of Control Room processes as well as surveillance and position monitoring.

Responsibilities:
Undertake the day to day Control Room tasks
Ensure that research/marketing material produced/distributed by the firm is reviewed/cleared on a timely basis to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures;
Daily maintenance of the Restricted List and Watch List
Monitor Personal Account Dealing, addressing staff dealing enquiries including clearance as and when required
Deal with Control Room related queries
Follow the Conflict Clearance process for all relevant transactions
Provide cover for all members of the Control Room where needed
Undertake market abuse surveillance using email monitoring and trade surveillance systems
Review of outside business interests from a conflicts perspective
