CONTROL-M ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking to find a responsible and open minded candidate who adds value to our client's IT team. Our client is an international Swiss Bank.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Infrastructure Support & Maintenance

- Provide global support for all Batch Infrastructure for Mainframe & Distributed platform
- Maintain, upgrade & install new releases of Batch tools in all Development, Testing & Production Environment in collaboration with Hosting and Connectivity in CH region only
- Vendor engagement and collaboration with our client internal support teams
- Projects which includes Packaging & Integrations with bank strategic tools for software deployment, scheduling, monitoring, log management etc.
- Maintenance and development of automations, operational, reporting solutions to optimize support & scheduling services.
- Installation, upgrade, migration, automation and trouble-shooting of Enterprise Manager, Control-M Server and Agent software.
- Support and Maintenance of the Control-M/EM Application Infrastructure spanning Servers, Database.

TOOLS AND ENGINEERING:

- Management of all batch infrastructure (distributed platform) in Development, Testing & Production environments to mitigate reoccurrence.
- Perform end to end Change, Incident and Problem management
- Control-M Agent and Server packaging.
- Automation of installation through BladeLogic.
- EMtoBEM Integration for batch alerting and auto-ticketing in ITSM SNOW.
- Agent Inventory Report, Staging, CTMPSM, XML Validator(CH).
- Engineer and develop automation, house-keeping, reporting and operational solutions for optimizing Batch environment.
- Engineer, support and maintain batch data analysis, monitoring and escalation tools including
- Global Batch Dashboard, AppView, Global Batch Analysis, Batch Reporting Database, WebDocs and the Batch Alerts & Quality Assurance Portal.

AUDIT COMPLIANCE & STANDARDS

- Define & maintain global batch scheduling standards in compliance with guidelines
- Define & maintain security profiles for Control-M users in testing and production environment
- Batch related audit requirements .ie quarterly GARS review, SPLUNK, SYS Log management etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor degree
- Min. 5 years works experience.
- BMC Control-M certified system engineer
- Attention to details
- Needs to be able to face off with IT business users and adjust priorities as appropriate. Needs experience administering and supporting global business critical systems and adhering to appropriate controls.
- BMC Control-M product suite for MAINFRAME and DISTRIBUTED systems.
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with a variety of cross-functional groups.
- Time management, multitasking
- Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and ability to own problems through to resolution
- Ability to manage own work without supervision
- Team Player
- Good Oral Communication and Written Communication
