Control and Instrumentation Technician (C&I)

My client who are a global provider of specialised energy solutions are looking for a C&I Technician/Controls & Instrumentation Technician.

The opportunity exists for a highly motivated and safety aware Controls & Instrumentation Technician who has proven skills to join the Maintenance delivery team.

As the Controls & Instrumentation Technician you will be undertaking routine maintenance, repairing defected plant and delivering outage work as efficiently and effectively as possible

Experience and Attributes required for the Controls & Instrumentation Technician:

* Previous power station experience in this field

* Completed a relevant Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent

* Has the ability to use a variety of test equipment to diagnose faults on control systems & control loops

* Be able to read and interpret P&ID drawings and design specifications to ensure correct operation of instrumentation systems

* Technical attributes to undertake fault diagnosis and repairs of level, pressure and temperature transmitters/devices

* Technical attributes to undertake fault diagnosis and repairs of water quality instrumentation with particular focus on flow meters, turbidity and residual chlorine

* Demonstrate a flexible approach and be willing to undertake any responsible activity within their capability
