Control Analyst

An immediate opportunity has arisen for a Control Analyst to join our client, a leading investment management company based Edinburgh.

Key responsibilities of the Control Analyst will include:
- Fixed asset and global reporting
- Building relationships with other internal teams to ensure requirements are satisfied in a timely manner
- Reconciliation of balance sheets
- Completing compliance reports and analysis and general maintenance journals
- Participate in ad hoc and project tasks as and when required
- Actively seek process improvements for the control team

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:
- Newly Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant
- Previous experience working in the financial services industry with working knowledge of Excel and Oracle systems would be an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Methodical and organised with the ability to work to a tight deadline
- Confident team player with a desire to learn and take responsibility
