Contracts Officer - Procurement

Projektbeschreibung

The role holder will have a procurement and contract management background, and ideally a track record of leading and motivating a team in a fast moving environment, whilst being able to manage complex relations between key stakeholders.

Minimum skills requirement:
* Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS); or equivalent
* Substantial Contract Management Skills and Experience
* Working knowledge of public sector procurement regulations.
* Engaging effectively with Stakeholders
* Experience of developing and implementing strategy
* Experience of supplier engagement and management

Desirable Skills
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
* Building constructive working relationships
* Improving Performance
* Knowledge of the GPS Centralisation of Common Goods and Services Agenda;
* IT Database skills
-Act as an advisor and provide guidance
-To manage suppliers in terms of contracts and capability
-It will be a very dynamic role, not only "straight" procurement.
-excellent communications across departments and to be able to oversee the training required.
