Contracts Negotiator

My client a leading energy provider in the UK currently has an opportunity for a Contracts Negotiator. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience of leading the structuring and execution of commercial agreements, such as project finance, O&M agreements etc.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Management of project finance agreements (and possible re-financing) for operational assets, working closely with both external and internal stakeholders. Structure new and existing PPAs, and co-ordinate related activities with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Provide commercial support/advice to all internal teams on commercial issues to facilitate structuring and negotiation of any agreements. Assist with managing all commercial assumptions within operational models ensuring they are accurate and consistent.
- Work with the Investment and Analysis team to ensure that appropriate tools/models are developed and maintained to monitor and assess the performance of the operating assets. Carry out research and advise accordingly on key aspects of market regulation which may or will affect activities including liaising with regulation teams within the Shareholders' businesses.
