My local government client are looking for an interim contracts and supplier relationship manager.

You will be responsible for working across Adults Social Care, Children's Social Care and Public Health.

They have several gaps across the team and need an interim to help bridge the gap while they are looking for longer term permanent solutions. The council is going through a restructure so they require someone with a pragmatic approach, that can lend their hand to a range of different issues which need addressing.

For the right candidate, there will be opportunities to follow through beyond the transformation agenda, and to support the council in upskiling the contracts team, and putting in place systems and processes for the department.

The successful candidate will have experience of local authority contracts and procurement departments, and experience of social care.

The assignment is initially for 3 months however it is likely to go significantly longer than this.
