Contracts Manager/Commercial Manager/Procurement Manager wanted.

My London based client is looking for a Contracts Manager/Commercial Manager/Procurement Manager.

The Contracts Manager/Commercial Manager/Procurement Manager will manage a range of procurement and contract management activities, achieving savings while novating a number of contracts to the client, feeding into departmental planning and reporting activities, as well as coaching and supporting junior members of the team.

This role will have an IT category bias, although there is a likely requirement to manage Transition projects relating to other main category spend such as FM, HR and other corporate services contracts.

Activities will include:

*Managing the transition process for appropriate contracts to the client.
*Delivery of effective procurement activities that are fully aligned to the client's goals and objectives;
*On-boarding of services for the client onto centrally awarded framework agreements as appropriate;
*Support in using new central government procurement tools such as eMarketplace and eSourcing to procure the client's contracts
*Support in the promotion and development of excellent supplier and internal customer relationships;
*Provision of procurement advice to assist in the awareness and application of procurement policy and best practice throughout the client and other duties as defined by the Head of Sourcing we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
