Our client urgently require a Contracts Manager with a broadcast/media background to join their team, on a contractual basis.

They are looking for an individual to take on the role of Contract Manager, Broadcast Services, reporting to the Head of Commercial Management.

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the prime directive is to drive and support both Pre-Sales and Post-Sales activities across the whole of Broadcast Services, via use of your expert knowledge and accountability in the contract management space.

Within the Pre-Sales space you will support the five Heads of Sales and their teams in the pursuit and award of new customer contracts during the engagement process.

Responsibilities

In accordance with internal Process Role descriptions for Contract Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Managers as attached. Certain key areas of responsibility as summarised below:

* Performance of contract risk assessments and compliance audit reviews of key customer contracts, development and management of risk mitigation plans.
* Provide contract strategy input to support the Core 3 group in qualifying and developing customer proposals.
* Maintain a complete and accurate record of all customer contracts.
* Working the service delivery and project teams, provide input to and ensure compliance with contract change process throughout the life cycle from change request to executed change agreement.
* Identify and quantify contract risks associated with the Business Case.
* Source, establish and implement a central Contract Management system for use by Broadcast Services.
* Liaise with and co-ordinate Legal Counsel from the Regions or external firms as required.
* Working with the Engagement Lead and wider team as appropriate, support/lead customer contract negotiations as required, own and draft the contract document during the negotiations.

The Contracts Manager should have a bachelors degree or higher, and possess a strong commercial and contract law knowledge, together with a good business and commercial understanding, a background in Customer engagement and sales support experience, an ability to work with and laterally lead multi-discipline teams on a project basis across a Matrix organisation, and be an MS Word expert user.
