Contracts Manager required for local civil engineering contractor A contracts manager job based in Aberdeenshire paying a competitive salary (plus excellent bonus and benefits package) looking after multiple client contracts for a well established local civil engineering contractor. Being renowned for its quality of work and high levels of customer service, there is a vacancy currently for a contracts manager to join their expanding team. Due to the construction market in Aberdeen being so buoyant, this company will be looking to increase their headcount and turnover significantly over the next 5 years Your new role Reporting directly to the managing director you will be primarily responsible for looking after multiple contracts for a variety of different clients ranging from large infrastructure projects to local housing developments. You will be expected to divide your time between the office and site. Duties include monitoring progress, overseeing ordering and delivery of materials. Carrying out regular safety checks ensuring that work is done safely, on time and within budget to the right quality standards and that the work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation. What youll need to succeed Previous experience of working in a contracts manager role up to and beyond 5 years is essential to be considered for this role. As well as this, you must be very focussed on customer service and have experience of working to a high level of quality. As well as this, it would be advantageous if you have all necessary tickets in place including first aid and 5 day SMSTS. What youll get in return An above market rate salary dependant on experience will be offered as well as an attractive package.
