Contract Manager.

Role is focussed around contract setups/renewed within metering

Metering/Utilities experience

Looking for a talented individual to create and build Third Party relationships to support corporate business achieving its strategic ambition across the Supply and Non Supply business. You'll manage third party relationships throughout their life cycle. This will include working with the Procurement team, managing relationships and writing contracts. With the authority and autonomy to negotiate contracts fully, you'll be expected to pick up projects and take complete ownership of them.

With a remit that includes overseeing the creation, negotiation and the on-going management of commercial contracts, you'll be delivering excellent customer service, value for money and safety performance, while ensuring adherence to our procedures and policies. You'll also have responsibility for budgets and business risk processes, making sure to maintain commercial integrity on all matters and contracts within an annual multi million pound spend. Providing essential mentoring to less experienced members of the team.

ESSENTIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Proven ability to build effective relationships, influence and collaborate with stakeholders, peers and senior management across the Corporates business.

Strong commercial and analytical acumen

Proven ability to make decisions and deliver against tight deadlines amidst conflicting priorities

Pro-active and creative approach to problem solving.

Substantial experience of providing commercial advice and solutions.

Working knowledge of preparing and maintaining commercial documents, as well as contract law.

Previous people management experience.

Knowledgeable enough to offer expert advice, guidance and coaching.

Able to develop and manage effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, often at director level.

Previous experience gained in a role with a strong and responsive customer/clients focus.
