Contracts Manager

The Contracts Manager role is to strengthen the Contracts team and manage the implementation and delivery of projects on behalf of our clients. Projects vary from minor works up to a value of £1m (High Spec development and fit outs)The Contracts Manager will work in a team supporting internal and external projects nationwide:

· Setting up site activities.

· Experience in high spec developments and fit outs

· Managing Health & Safety on site.

· The appointment of sub-contractors.

· Preparations of a programme of work, Risk Assessments and Method Statement.

· Managing sub-contractor performance.

· Cost and implement contract variations.

· Managing projects on site to ensure a professional implementation process and to deliver the anticipated margin.

· Liaise with local authorities.

· On completion, arrange for handovers, post contract meetings, certification, operations manuals etc. and the preparation of invoices. EXPERIENCE

· Min 2 years experience as a contracts manager in High Spec developments

· The potential to bring new client opportunities would be beneficial.

· Track record of successful projects either internally or externally.

· In-depth knowledge of the construction process including fit-out and refurbishment.

· Understands the pre-construction process.

· Can organise and manage the design phase of a project.

· Able to collate information from his team to prepare and present the project report.

· Understanding and compliance with Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety management systems
