RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible to manage and coordinate contract administration activities to ensure that contractual obligations are maintained in a manner which ensures good customer relations while representing the interest of the company
- Develops and administers contract administration policies, systems, procedures and methods
- Provides interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual obligations, coordinates pre-award negotiations between company and customer/vendors and analyzes impact of modifications and revisions and prepares company recommendations
- Provides guidance on sourcing and contract policies, practices and procedures to business units and communicates with business unit customers and suppliers on project status and activity
REQUIREMENTS
- Requires 3-5 years experience planning, directing, controlling and managing the activities and staff involved with the negotiation, preparation, monitoring and termination of contracts between customer and company
- Requires experience managing the sourcing process for assigned high-dollar or high-risk projects and contracts, negotiating or managing the negotiation of contract terms and conditions, performing contract construction and legally binding the contract through signature
- Experience with Esourcing tools is desired
