Contracts and Sourcing Advisor

A new contract opportunity for a Contracts and Sourcing Advisor has arisen, you will be working for a global law firm to provide the following core capabilities:

*Commercial guidance and support re the completion of supplier contracts, including, Facilities, IT, HR, etc.
*Guidance and support to a sourcing process. To include maintenance of in-house templates to reflect market changes
*To act as category advisor for HR; Marketing and others as necessary

Act as the focal point to Business Services, to assist in the completion of supplier contracts. This will involve drafting; negotiation with suppliers; engagement with both internal and external legal specialists as appropriate.

Provide dedicated support to all sourcing exercises carried out within Business Services:

*Ensure compliance to Strategic Sourcing process and guidelines as appropriate
*Creation of RFI's/RFP's to support projects or business lines as required across Business Services
*Provide the focal point for submission of RFP's and to co-ordinate responses and supplier evaluation
*Act as sourcing advisor to a variety of categories, likely to include HR, Marketing (but not IT, Facilities or Information Resources)
*Develop good working relationships with business stakeholders including Category leads; Legalexternal suppliers and Finance.
*Work with a business-focused approach in a consultative manner to solve business issues.
*Work in an organised and methodical approach, with the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure and achieve deadlines.
*Engage with suppliers in a manner that fosters positive relationships.
