Contracts Analyst, Public Sector

My Client has a requirement for a Contracts Analyst. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Contract structure and contractual terms in general, Contract management, Supplier relationship management and Commercial negotiations.

Main responsibilities:
The job involves being the primary resource delivering a number of reports to support a convergence programme

*Review of the incentive models currently in place on contracts - Analysis of how well they are working
*Recommendation of which models should be preferred.
*Review of risk ownership and management on current contracts, including recommendation regarding potential improvements
*Review of the tiered supply chain involved in the delivery of a current or a proposed contract.
*Analysis of the team assets-in-industry. These tasks will include a data collection to test the existing list of assets and plug the main visible gaps. Subsequently conducting a data analysis exercise and identifying potential ways for reducing costs and saving money.

Essential experience:
*Contract structure and contractual terms experience in general
*Contract management
*Supplier relationship management
*Commercial negotiations (understand the concepts of profit, risk, overheads...)
*Financial management of contractual risk Incentive models (eg Target Cost Incentive Fee)
*An accountancy background would be beneficial, but not mandatory.
