Contracts Administrator

A global oil and organisation are looking for a Contracts Administrator to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.

Role Synopsis

* Reporting to a Supplier Enablement Team Lead the Supplier Enablement Specialist will work through a number of contracts assessing the contract against a pre-defined Contract Fitness criteria.
* Any contracts not meeting the criteria will need to be remediated, via one or more pre-described activities
* Those contracts that meet the criteria will then be further processed before being passed to the IP SAP Data Team for validation and loading into SAP

Key Accountabilities

* Reviewing a series of contracts against a pre-defined criteria as directed by their IP Supplier Enablement Team Lead.
* Taking the pre-described action for contracts requiring remediation
* Processing contracts that meet the criteria and passing the completed output to the IP SAP Data Team
* Recording the actions taken in the tracking tool to the appropriate level of detail
* Building price books/catalogues
* Raising any issues or risks with the IP Supplier Enablement Team Lead

Essential experience and job requirements

* Experience in building price books/catalogues
* Experience and understanding of the business processes and policies as they relate to working practice, contractor management, supply chain and controls
* Experience of working in a Project environment
* Knowledge of PSCM, IT
* A self-starter able to make decisions and progress initiatives independently and in an environment where information may be limited
* Well-developed critical thinking skills, including the ability to communicate ideas both concisely and persuasively
* Strong excel skills required

Desirable criteria & qualifications

* Working knowledge of contract management and or procurement systems
* Experience in problem solving and work with complex and large amounts of detail
