SYSTEM TESTING, WEB TESTING, REGRESSION, TEST PLANS, AUTOMATED TESTING, DEFECT TRACKING, VB SCRIPTING, SELENIUM HP QUICK TEST
PROFILE:
- Must have 3+ cumulative years SYSTEM-TESTING experience (not localisation) with particular emphasis on WEB BASED testing.
- Strong testing background expected with experience WRITING TEST PLANS and test procedures.
- Experience with REGRESSION, INTEGRATION and System level test execution.
- Experience with TEST AUTOMATION Tools, VISUAL STUDIO Team System (Test Edition), HP QUICK TEST PROFESSIONAL, Selenium or similar tools.
- Some experience of performance testing and an understanding of this area
- Knowledge of PERFORMANCE/load testing tools, LOADRUNNER, Grinder or similar.
- Experience in the use of DEFECT TRACKING tools.
- Experience of VB SCRIPTING or Visual Basic
- Experience TESTING BROWSER applications
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience of STRUCTURED TESTING methods and techniques.
- Full SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE Experience.
- Working knowledge of SQL and .NET and/or Java advantageous.
- Test Qualification highly advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experience in healthcare or retail systems is an advantage.
PERSONAL PROFILE:
- Technical DEGREE or equivalent experience.
- Articulate, confident, SELF STARTER
- Excellent WRITTEN AND VERBAL ENGLISH communication skills
- Innovative problem solver.
- Desire to develop your own knowledge by keeping abreast of testing tools and techniques, attending workshops and reviewing technical publications.
