Contract Underwriter - Can be Located Anywhere in the U.S

CONTRACT UNDERWRITER - CAN BE LOCATED ANYWHERE IN THE U.S.

SKILLS:

- Minimum 5 years of individual life underwriting experience; otherwise seeking all levels of experience.
- Experienced in a paperless, imaged environment.
- Sound technical underwriting skills
- High level of productivity while maintaining quality results
- Adaptability and ability to learn quickly
- Able to work remotely

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

- The contract duration is undetermined at this time but the projected case load is expected to grow which could mean 6 months or longer. Some positions have the potential to turn into something permanent but that is not guaranteed right now.
- Candidates would work from home so they can live anywhere in the US. Our client would set them up with their computer/phone/etc.
- Candidates would come to Birmingham for a week of training. Our client would handle all travel arrangements and expenses. Additionally all candidates will be paid during the training period.
- The pay rates are $35/hr. - $45/hr.
