Contract UAT Test Manager - Investment Bank

Our Client an investment Bank based in Canary Wharf requires a UAT Test Manager with functional experience gained in the capital markets industry. Like many Banks there are significant changes in the regulatory operating environment. Industry wide regulatory initiatives in the form of Dodd Frank Act and other similar types of regulations from global authorities are complex and challenging reaching across the many parts of the organization. The ideal candidate will be a UAT Test Manager with functional experience gained in the capital markets industry working for a primary dealer or a major financial institution. This should include UAT testing experience relevant to front and/or middle office systems (Calypso/Summit preferably) and financial products (primarily Interest Rates, Credit, FX, Equity derivative products) Specific key responsibilities include : * Effectively manage stakeholder expectation related to UAT testing and build a strong relationship with business users. * Provide clear communication on testing schedule, test dates, scope changes, UAT status, etc. to the stakeholders * Drive UAT activity, coordinate, plan for and ensure all pre-requisites are met prior to the UAT, support business users in UAT planning, uploading test scripts in QC, formulating test cases covering all aspect of requirements, etc. * Defect Management and facilitation of quick resolution of defects depending on severity. * Collaborate and Document with global testing team/test managers in formulating, and to test plans, test strategy, test environments, etc. * Represent in industry UAT calls and communicate industry information to internal stakeholders.
