Contract Transplant System Admin

The opportunity is one that we feel will eventually be a part time role. Our current forecast is the work involved will be full time for around 3 months and then potentially would - a) Move to a remote - work from home, part time assignment or

b) Possibly transition into a longer range assignment performing similar duties for other departments (even potentially has a permanent hire after 6 months)

Client HS has an opportunity for a contractor to perform the role of System's Administrator as the organization migrates to the EDIT Transplant Management System.

Reporting to the Project Manager for the project and to the Director of the Transplant area this person will be asked to perform the following duties ...

1) Assist with the finalization and oversight of the data conversion from existing system to EDIT - this will include verification of the specifications for the conversion - and validation that data is being accurately converted.

2) Assist with preparations for conversion to the new system -- setting up users in the system, validating back-up and recovery plans,   documenting support model

3) Learning the EDIT system and assisting Client HS staff develop effectiveness in the use of the system

4) Assisting with the testing processes

5) Reviewing the effectiveness of interfaces to other systems and documenting processes for monitoring and resolving issues with the interfaces.

6) Potential development/verification of Management reports.

Skills and experiences sought:

1) College graduate

2) At least 1 year of prior experience with

a) Work in a hospital setting

b) Work related to Transplant

c) Data Base (SQL) management

d) Interface (HL7) understanding - monitoring and management (doesn't need to be an I/F developer)

e) Systems Administration work
f) Report development...

2) The resumes that appear to meet the qualifications will be passed on to the Hiring Managers (our Transplant Project PM and our Transplant Department Director) for review. They will select at least 2 for phone interview.

3) We will then make our selection and work through the steps to generate a PO and schedule a start date.

Additional Notes:

1) We are interested in filling this position as quickly as possible

2) It is also presumed that if the candidates work more than 40 hours per week that the additional hours will be billed at the same rate as for the normal hours.

3) Authorization to work some weeks remotely will be considered after the 1st month on site.

4) It is presumed that contractors will follow Client HS travel expense guidelines
