Contract Systems Engineer - Mechanical/Composites - Switzerland

My client based in Switzerland is seeking 2 experienced Systems engineers with a Mechanical bias/background to work on the Structural development of a new space/satellite system.

Please note this is not a permanent position, it is only contract/consultant based.

Role:
*Lead and coordinate technical project tasks as engineering responsible in complex projects, with the objective to meet the technical requirements within the given budget and agreed schedule
*Break down the technical requirements to subsystems, generate technical specifications for subsystems and subcontractors
*Conduct technical negotiations with customers, project partners and subcontractors
*Define and implement the development and verification logic, establish the corresponding documents, ie design development

*Minimum FH degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or in a similar discipline
*Several years of professional experience in System Engineering or Technical Project Management within Space or Aerospace. (Recent experience is preferred)
*Working level fluency in English (written and spoken), German and French are of advantage
*Good communication, cooperation and organization skills, willingness to take responsibility
*Good analytical and system oriented thinking
*Awareness for costs and schedules
*Experience with Composites design and Pyrotechnical Systems is advantageous

Due to the urgency of this position it is important that you have experience covering the above requirements.
