Contract: System Architecture & DWH Engineering Consultant (Oracle, ET

SCOPE OF WORK:

- Design and implementation of reporting solutions based on Oracle technology, ETL, PL/SQL, DWH sets and U-Star technology
- Development of technical concepts, responsibility for design and implementation of specified requirements to the projects according to the standard solution delivery processes
- Technical specification and implementation of diverse interfaces and ETL processes to and from other systems and within clients DWH
- Operations/Solution Integration
- Perform 3rd level support for deployed components
- Acceptance tests in cooperation with Business and hand over to DWH operations and other support teams
- Provide support documentations and checklists according to the clients system engineering standards

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Several years of experience with ETL, PL/SQL, (Datamodelling) and DWH (at least 3; better 6 years or more)
- International experience/working in a global organization
- The ability to steer things forward
- Good communication skills as the position requires a close relationship with IT-teams also outside Switzerland (USA, Asia)
- Willingness to act as regional single point of contact for technical requests
- Working under pressure
- Ability to cover solution architect tasks if required would be an advantage
- Fluency in written and spoken English (must) and German (nice to have)
- The ideal candidate has banking experience, IT DWH background (processes and tools) a plus
