LOCATION: Bradford, Calderdale & Rotherham - Travel to Localities Required

JOB TITLE: Contract Support Officer

SALARYharm minimization, day programmes, prescribing and shared care, community detoxification services, criminal justice and prison initiatives, family work and services for young people.

THE ROLE: Working directly to the Localities' Area Manager to provide contract performance monitoring, quality and reporting support to their Localities' services in Yorkshire. To identify and report on quality or performance gaps at the earliest stage producing robust project plans and frameworks to address them. To help prepare for contract monitoring and review meetings with commissioners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- - To monitor contract performance including key performance indicators and outcomes utilising management information and data collection systems as appropriate.
- To report on contract progress highlighting any variance against targets and proposed plans to address these.
- To extract information from contract databases for statistical and evaluation purposes.
- To liaise and instruct staff on reporting submissions and paperwork deadlines within services
- To produce statistical reports detailing output measures in line with commissioning requirements on a quarterly and annual basis as required.
- To ensure systems of data collection are developed appropriately, efficiently and are maintained in line with local (contractual) and national (NDTMS) requirements.
- To ensure that reports enable performance comparisons to be made on a quarterly and annual basis.
- To develop and implement systems of monitoring for staff and for service users in order to assess the quality of service delivery.
- To assist in the planning and delivery of performance review mechanisms.
- To contribute to local business development planning.

THE CANDIDATE: You will have excellent project management and planning skills to provide contract performance monitoring, quality and reporting support to Lifeline Localities' services in South and West Yorkshire.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:- *All criteria are Essential unless otherwise indicated

- Relevant professional Health or Social Care Qualification NVQ L4 or equivalent (e.g. Public Health, Social Work, Social Care.)
- PRINCE2 certified to Foundation Level with workplace experience OR project management qualification -DESIRABLE
- Experience of contract performance monitoring systems and processes
- Experience of producing monitoring and evaluation reports/data.
- Experience of managing and/or supervising paid or unpaid staff
- Up to date knowledge of national drug and alcohol policies and agendas, and/or a commitment and record of working within national policy areas.
- Knowledge and experience of using database systems e.g. Microsoft Access is DESIRABLE
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
