We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Team Leader to join a CCGT power station in Essex. This is going be a contract position to start with the possibility of going permanent in 2015.

Reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of Operations Technician's, ensuring the station is run safely and efficiently.

Other duties will include..

* Providing supervision and technical advice to shift teams.
* Assisting with reliability, flexibility and plant performance.
* Performance monitoring for plant optimisation.
* Permit writing
* HV switching

To be considered for this position, you be qualified to a HND (or equivalent) in an engineering related discipline. Alongside this you will have experience acting as a Shift Team Leader on a CHP or CCGT station.
