Contract Senior Test Manager- Investment Bank

Urgently require a Test Manager for Tier 1 Investment Bank in Canary Wharf. Only if you have recent experience as a Test Manager in a UK Investment Bank get in touch. Thank you Main Function The Test Manager will be responsible for the design, architecture and development of testing strategies and solutions in support of the overall Application strategy. They will have a demonstrable track record of managing test teams and technical testers in a globally distributed technology organization. In addition to excellent leadership skills this role will require outstanding problem solving skills, attention to detail, strong analytical skills and the ability to think creatively about issue resolution. Person Requirements Mandatory The successful candidate will have: ·A proven track record of delivering advanced testing solutions in complex technology environments ·Significant experience of managing testing teams in a globally distributed technology organization ·Strong senior stakeholder engagement and communication skills ·Self motivated and assertive ·Proficient in Microsoft office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel ·Excellent written and spoken English In addition to these technical skills, the individual needs to be able to: ·Think ahead in order to establish an efficient and appropriate course of action for self and others. ·Prioritise and plan team activities taking into account all the relevant issues and factors such as deadlines, staffing and resources. ·Use a range of techniques to influence, able to get one's message understood clearly by adopting a range of styles, tools and techniques appropriate to the audience and the nature of the information. ·Work collaboratively with others to be part of a team. ·Adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals or groups. ·Understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives on an issue, to adapt an approach as the requirements of a situation change, and to accept changes in one's own role requirement. ·Simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts explore gather information from stakeholders and evaluate them systematically. ·Push the boundaries in problem solving Preferred ·IT related degree ·Knowledge of context driven test techniques
