Contract Remedy Developers

EDT Global have been asked to source contract Remedy Developers (Senior and Mid-level) for a client based in Canberra, ACT.

The primary responsibilities will be to design, develop, deploy and maintain commercial enterprise applications, primarily BMC Remedy ITSM, Atrium CMDB, and integrations to related technologies.

THE ROLE WILL SEE YOU REPORTING INTO THE DESIGN & IMPROVEMENT MANAGER AND WILL HAVE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop technical specifications and documentation, including technology specific data models to support application needs.
- Perform application testing of components, modifications, and overall systems in addition to application tuning, problem analysis and resolution.
- Experience in BMC Remedy Helpdesk, BMC Remedy Change Management, BMC Remedy Asset Management, BMC Remedy Service Level Agreements, Atrium CMDB, ITSM V7.5 or V6
- Develop and implement training and documentation for applications Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling.
- Contribute to the overall software development life cycle including requirements gathering/analysis, design, development technologies, release/version control, testing and deployment.
- Support and assist the Systems Administration groups. Provide database administration support for the Remedy database
- Have exceptional communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent interpersonal skills

EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in Remedy ITSM 7.x administration, Remedy Development, SQL Server
- Experience in Remedy ITSM 7.6 administration, Java Development, Windows 2008 Server(Desired)
- Experience in Object Oriented Design and development methodologies.
- Experience and specialty in relevant technologies and domains, with at least 5 years Remedy experience.
