Contract Project Manager - Agile/Software Delivery - 6 Months

The Project Manager is responsible for:

- Providing direction to the delivery team at stand-ups; cascading priorities and highlighting key dependencies/risks
- Ensuring that the business objectives of the project are clearly understood by the development team
- Owning and resolving issues that are blocking/slowing development
- Leading inceptions, estimation sessions and showcases
- Facilitating team retrospectives and driving forward suggestions for process improvement
- Planning projects, allocating resources and reporting project's progress against the plan;
- Providing stakeholders with a range of delivery options and solutions to align with budget or time constraints
- Identifying inter-project dependencies and liaising with other project/programme managers to mitigate risk
- Providing a consultancy function to the business on project and pre-project activities
- Engage with Operations to manage the release schedule and provide operational support for live incidents
- Owning the relationship with third party contractors (where required) to ensure that projects are adequately and appropriately resourced

Required Experience
You will be an experienced agile project manager with experience of managing web development projects, in a fast paced and constantly changing environment. With a good understanding of digital media and technology space You're passionate about delivering quality and excellent customer service. A leader who takes responsibility of delivery through all stages, a strong facilitator with vision and the ability to adapt quickly. You have a proven track record of delivery high profile projects/programmes through all stages of the life cycle, with budgets over £0.25M ideally in a web environment.

This is a 6 month contract role with a day rate of £250-£350 per day. When applying please complete the online questions and advise of your daily rate
