CONTRACT PROCESS IMPROVEMENT CONSULTANT.

LOCATION:

Bradford Offices

Leeds Offices

DURATION: 6 months

RATES: £Excellent

SUMMARY:

My client is a leading financial services company who is actively searching for a talented Process Improvement Consultant to join their growing Business Architecture team as they embark on an exciting transformation project.

You will be responsible for delivering improvements to the customer experience through process enhancements as prioritised by the Customer Experience Action Group.

Purpose of role: Provide process analysis expertise and design leadership for a range of business discovery, analysis, re-design and process optimisation activities throughout the organisation

Work across all business areas, channels and brands to drive, inform and enable change initiatives and transformation projects which improve the experience of customers and enhance the performance of the Group's operational processes and business functions

Work throughout the business to establish and support a continuous improvement methodology, coaching business teams on continuous improvement tools and methods and providing expert guidance on process analysis, operational design, performance measures and enterprise efficiency.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS OR ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Broad awareness of the markets in which the Group operates and associated customer demands and expectations
- Clear understanding of business strategy, target business models and target operating models and how these translate into operational practice
- Awareness of the regulatory landscape for financial services firms and how this impacts business operations
- Clear understanding of systems thinking, Business Process Management and organisation design principles, with an ability to incorporate these into analysis and design work
- Demonstrable experience and familiarity with the practical application of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma to Green Belt level or equivalent
- Detailed understanding of root cause analysis techniques and proven experience of applying these in a business environment
- Expert process modelling skills using BPMN standards and proficient in the use of BPM tools, including experience of working with industry standard tools for business process analysis and requirements definition eg ARIS, VISIO etc.
- Fully proficient with MS Office and able to develop a broad range of artefacts to support the analysis and visualisation of findings and recommendations
- Experience of organising, leading and facilitating discovery activities and workshops, including problem solving, process redesign and business requirements definition
- Proven ability to challenge existing working practices and work with others to deliver best practice to an organisation
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the business, including experience of presenting findings and recommendations to key stakeholders to influence business decisions and outcomes
- Knowledge of the project/change life cycle, in particular the business discovery and requirements phases and proven experience of project delivery, working both autonomously and within teams of various sizes
- Experience implementing change and an ability to demonstrate the benefits delivered.
