Contract) Natural Language Processing Specialist

Templeton and Partners is currently looking for a NLP specialist for a large commercial client based in Amsterdam.

THE TASK:

- Accountable for bringing in advancement in industry/market/academia and scope company NLP strategy
- Accountable for leading NLP development including service, platform development for NLP
- Accountable coordinating various teams working on NLP and implementing Proof of Concept to test technology and suggest next steps

SPECIAL CHALLENGES:

- Building constructive and trusting relationships with remote business stakeholders
- Dealing with challenges in data acquisition from other parts of the business
- Working with different vendors to develop understanding of the state-of-the-art NLP techniques

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

- 3+ years working in the field Natural Language Processing area and have in-depth knowledge on information extraction, sentiment analysis, summarization, smart search, structured knowledge bases, question Answering, etc.
- Hands-on development using at least one of Natural Language Processing tools

o Microsoft Azure Cognitive Service/Microsoft Chat Bot Framework

o IBM Watson/Conversation Service

o Google Natural Language APIs

o Open-source NLP Libraries such as spaCy, NLTK, etc.

- Deep learning knowledge (CNN, RNN, LSTM)/Google Tensor Flow/Python for Machine Learning is a strong preference
- Experience in technical architecture, design, deployment & operational knowledge of AI standards, services and platforms
- In-depth knowledge on state-of-the-art industry/Market NLP development
- Work with Agile development methodologies
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
