An extremely exciting opportunity has arisen for an Agency Contract Manager to work within a large Local Government organisation. The role will require the successful candidate to analyse spending and how agency staff are utilised within the Council and renegotiate with suppliers in order to drive efficiency.
The Contract Manager must have Local Authority experience and have extensively practiced within a similar role. A commercial focus is desirable and the ideal candidate will also have some experience of working within the private sector. Further to this they must have strong supplier relationship skills and be an effective and engaging communicator.
