Contract - London - Front End Developer

Front End developer required for my client.

This will see you joining the Front End developer team which is based onsite with this client. Focussing on Front End development of web applications for this large multi-national business.

You will be responsible for working as part of a Front End web development team.

Essential:

Systems development, mobile portals, Internet and mobile telephony.
Front End development soft skills - eg, HTML, CSS, XHTML
Front End harder skills - eg, JavaScript (AJAX) and JSP, XSLT
Java in a Web environment (eg, Servlets)
Java-based web platforms such as Spring, Freemarker, Velocity etc
Experience of developing Front End code for devices
Content Management Systems
Tag library development
Previous development and design experience within mobile devices
Design Patterns
General systems integration experience
XML, XSD etc.
Large scale development and maintenance projects
CVS experience

Desirable
Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL)
Unix/Linux
Design of high availability Internet applications & portals  
Java/J2EE/EJB
One of the following: WebLogic/JBOSS
Web Services experience
Apache, JBoss, Tomcat, Eclipse, CVS, Spring, Hibernate
