Sogeti UK are seeking an In House/Internal Recruiter on a contract basis who is passionate about finding the right people to build our organisation for the future and who is ready for the challenge of building a great internal recruitment function. The contract is initially for 4-6 weeks with the possibility of being extended until the end of the year.

This role is varied, fast-paced and involves day to day contact with people within and outside Sogeti. The Recruiter's overarching role is to find the right people to strengthen and build Sogeti UK as a company. As part of Sogeti's Human Resources Team (HR), which is in place to plan and manage the placement of delivery staff to optimise utilisation, this role reports to the Resourcing Manager who is responsible for driving all HR activity relating to staff allocation against open requirements.

The Recruiter is responsible for effectively creating and fulfilling recruitment plans in a cost-effective manner through direct sourcing, internal referral and graduate programmes, and where necessary, through selected external suppliers. In addition the Recruiter is accountable for building our brand as an employer of choice through external marketing activity and the candidate experience. The In House/Internal Recruiter is also responsible for ensuring the recruitment process meets legal and quality requirements, that use of recruitment tools and processes is optimised and that the business has relevant data on recruitment activity and costs.

The In House/Internal Recruiter will have strong communication and organisational skills and must be able to deal with multiple projects and priorities. This person needs to be comfortable with all aspects of recruitment as this is a hands-on role with strategic elements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Minimise the use of agencies and maximise direct recruitment
- Achieve permanent and temporary recruitment targets
- Manage recruitment costs within budget
- Manage external supplier relationships and monitor their effectiveness
- Ensure the recruitment process is fair and in line with legislative requirements
- Understand the status of recruitment activity at all times and deliver data as required to the rest of the business
- Optimise the recruitment process
- Improve our employer brand in partnership with the HR team
- Interviewing candidates
- Responsible for managing all media spend and advertising within budget

ACTIVITIES

- Understand open recruitment requirements and create appropriate job descriptions and attractive adverts
- Develop recruitment and interview plans for open roles and execute against these plans
- Use appropriate external avenues such as advertising, the Internet, social networking sites to publicise job opportunities and monitor the effectiveness of these
- Develop a pool of qualified active and passive candidates and maintain contact with possible future candidates. Develop and maintain a database of suitable candidates for the Delivery Organisation
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
- Run regular campaigns internal referral programme
- Contact and manage relationships with preferred agencies for specialist roles, and monitor their effectiveness
- Review CVs, conduct pre-screening interviews and face to face interviews as required
- Ensure interview feedback is gathered, recorded and communicated to candidates
- Prepare and send offer packages
- Write and send rejection emails
- Maintain all relevant data in online recruitment system, Taleo
- Report on recruitment activity and monitor its effectiveness through regular feedback
- Optimise the recruitment process in order to select the best people for our company
- Optimise the use of our recruitment tools to ensure effective use of resources
- Train interviewers on the recruitment process, including how to conduct interviews within process and legal guidelines
- Partner with HR to run our graduate recruitment programme

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience guidelines

- IT recruitment experience (agency, RPO, or in-house considered) gained in a fast paced environment
- Experience of a professional services environment an advantage
- Proven direct candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to short timeframes
- Able to write compelling adverts and understand how to increase their effectiveness through SEO techniques
- Skills in candidate database management, reporting and extracting data from Excel and record keeping
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of recruitment work
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Able to juggle multiple and changing priorities effectively
