Job Details:
6-8 Week initial Contract w/Potential to go perm once the person is in there and doing a great job.

Contract Helpdesk Analyst

Summary:
The IT Support Analyst's role is to provide technical support to internal employees and remote clients.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Respond to Helpdesk tickets (submitted via web, phone, and in-person).
Meet and exceed established service levels for the Help Desk.
Responsible for provisioning new user accounts for employees and remote clients.
Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, imaging, maintenance, and upgrades of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, copiers, etc.
Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems.
Act as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and working with outsource providers as required.
Determine source and nature of computer malfunction using diagnostic and application software.
Provide basic user instruction & assistance with the use of desktop applications and systems.
Perform post-resolution follow-ups to computer end-user requests to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications/skills:
Detail oriented
Customer service oriented, excellent phone manners required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Minimum of 2 years PC/Network Support
A solid understanding of PC hardware, software, and networking
Working knowledge of Windows XP/Vista
Knowledge of DSL, cable, and wireless Internet connectivity
TCP/IP skills must include printing, IP Addressing, DNS, WINS, and DHCP
Experience with Citrix Xenapp and/or Terminal Services a definite plus.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
-Or- an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
