My client a large well known NHS organisation in London is currently on the market for a Contract Finance Manager.

The suitable Contract Finance Manager will be:-

*You must be a qualified account to be considered for this role
*Must have NHS experience
*Responsible for the development, management and subsequent reporting of Trust Performance against contracts and SLAs to support internal and external, mandatory and statutory requirements.
*Ensure that all income for all patient related care - Acute, Specialist and Community is identified, collected and recorded appropriately, invoiced for, and recovered to both stabilise and maximise the Trust's Income.

The main purpose of the job will be to:-

*Lead on the accounting and reporting of patient activity and income in support of the Contracted (Acute/Community/Specialist) and Non Contracted PCTs - in total income of @£190M.
*They will provide expert and specialist knowledge and be responsible for working with Information staff on the implementation and development of Payment by Results (PbR). They will also provide expert financial advice and training in regards to PbR and income to other finance staff and non financial colleagues in Divisions, including interpreting changes to the regime in easily understood terms. The training will be provided either on a one to one basis, or to clinical teams/performance teams/management teams.
*They will be the primary financial support in annual negotiations of SLAs with PCTs/Consortia, and will work with other finance colleagues on service costing
*The post-holder will have overall responsibility for the development, production and maintenance of the Income and Activity reports for internal and external reporting, and will ensure compliance within the statutory and mandatory deadlines.
*The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring Contract and Non Contracted debt is managed effectively, and will work with other Finance colleagues and colleagues within the Contracts & SLA Team to ensure risk to the Trust is minimised.
*The post holder will work closely and will be the financial lead, supporting the Head of Contracts & SLA Management in the management of all Contracts.
*The post holder will assess, review and report on the impact of monthly income changes both to the Board and Trust income position.
