Projektbeschreibung
To provide financial governance, accounting, reporting, structure & clarity to a programme's finances. Engage with finance, delivery, commercial and account teams to support them in maximising the outcome on the contract.
Operate programme financial controls that protect and lead to an optimal project outcome
Establish a thorough contractual understanding flagging risks and opportunities to programme management team.
Develop strong client relationships such that good visibility of client financial needs is achieved and opportunities can be maximised.
Ensure all costs and revenues are captured in the programme finances and that are recorded and forecast in accordance with the group's accounting policies.
Optimise the programme performance against the following financial parameters: WIP, Debtors, Cash Revenue, Costs and Profit
Be an active member of the programme team providing guidance on finance matters.
Ensure new change business is effectively reviewed and governed in accordance with BidSmart.
Set up and maintain programme records such that forecasts, FSRs, CFLs and LRFs can be submitted in a timely and accurate fashion.
Ensure satisfactory Internal and External Audit reviews are received on your area of responsibility.
Secondary Tasks
Encourage close co-operation between the contract accounting team, sharing lessons learned and good practice.
Encourage close co-operation between sales, delivery and commercial communities to ensure our clients receive a joined up service.
Train, develop and mentor direct reports such that they can progress to future opportunities within the contract accounting team Participate in the further development of best practice within the contract accounting team.
Increase financial awareness and improve performance of Project Managers, Programme Directors etc
Candidates must have:
- Advanced Excel skills to support complex financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Experience in contract/project accounting and exposed to a commercial environment ie bid management
- Support finance team with month end volume of work, reconcilliations, invoicing etc
- Support some Project Financial performance reviews
- Core financial compentencies
- Interaction with different disciplines eg sales, commercial, delivery
- Strong communication skills
- Operating in a Matrix environment with many stakeholders
- experience of leading teams
- Managing and solving conflict
- Optimising financial performance
