Contract Finance Consultant

Eden Scott's client is a leading independently managed investment business with a presence in multiple UK locations. Due to a major, confidential change in direction, the organisation are seeking several interim, permanent and contract accountants to join the business to assist in the next stage of the companies journey. The specific post that I am interested in engaging with candidates about is a senior project finance opportunity. This is one of the most unique roles you will come about in the near future and will shape the organisation for the next decade or more. 

Responsibilities
The organisation is seeking a credible candidate who will work closely with the CFO in making decisions about a potential sale of the organisation. We are looking at an individual who can work at a strategic level, seeking confidence from both potential investor parties and the internal senior stakeholders. 
On a day to day basis you will be required to do the following
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels, internally and externally, and potentially with statutory bodies and government departments, 
Review of processes and procedures within the existing model to identify weaknesses,
Acting on our clients behalf, but acting forensically, in the financial appraisal of where our clients finances are in real terms, 
Ensuring that processes and policies are in place to safe guard the investments within the business,
Acting as a senior member of the leadership team in the transfer of ownership from one entity to the next, 

Requirements
We are seeking an individual who has previous experience of working within a flotation, IBO, MBO or a general change of corporate ownership. The candidate will have to be qualified an accountant, ideally CA/ACA however ACCA/CIMA would be considered (the role is not open to QBE/PQ applicants). We are seeking credible individuals who are able to work at very senior levels and not afraid of making decisive, informed decisions on corporate strategies. Whilst I would be keen to explore daily rates with this business, this is not possible with the organisation to external influences from the stakeholders involved.
