Our client, a financial services company is looking for a Contract Doc1 Developer to be based in Derby on an initial 6 month contract.

As a Doc1 Developer you will work within a structured environment developing document output solutions, in line with business partner customer specification requirements.

KEY DELIVERABLES

- Detailed analysis of customer (internal business partner) document development requirements.
- Design and develop solutions based on those requirements.
- Document all developments throughout the development life cycle.
- Provide comprehensive test plans and carry out testing.
- Build letter/applications templates Doc.1 template
- Develop and maintain document applications using DOC1 document composition software development tools and any other composition software used by the group, to produce robust applications that are compliant with all relevant Group software standards.
- Ensure all applications promoted to live status are done so with fully completed implementation plans and under full change record control on time and to the customer specification requirements.
- Ensure all documentation, including versioning control are kept up to date and placed in the relevant logical folders.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, other business areas and software suppliers.
- Work within a climate of Continuous Improvement & support all CI initiatives.
- Ability to plan and manage own work to achieve designated deadlines.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Pitney Bowes Doc1 experience - 2yrs+ experience
- Compositing knowledge
- Financial Services Experience is desirable
- Thunderhead knowledge is desirable
