Contract Devops Engineer

The client I am recruiting for are looking for an IT professional to work on one of the largest projects in Europe. A DevOps Engineer will be working on a project to unify various databases over the course of 4 years so all the relevant information can be accessed through one central database.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience
- 5 years of experience in Linux/Unix Administration, preferably Red Hat 5
- 3+ years of experience in Puppet based configuration management design/architecture, development/configuration and deployment, preferably on Red Hat 5
- Minimum of 4 large projects involving Puppet based solutions on Linux/Unix
- Minimum of 2 projects involving server automation (deployment) and standardisation through Scripting.
- OS and network knowledge
- Knowledge of bash and ruby Scripting

MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH
Desirable:

- Microsoft Windows Server 2003+
- Puppet configuration management on Windows Server 2003+
- Certification: RHCSA/RHCE

CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 MONTH CONTRACT WITH A BIG POSSIBILITY OF EXTENDING

LOCATION: HAGUE, NETHERLANDS

RATE: 370 EURO'S PER DAY (£280)

MUST BE SC CLEARED BEFORE THE START OF CONTRACT!

START DATE: 2 WEEK'S TIME
