Contract Data Analyst - Glasgow

Empiric are engaged with a banking organisation based in Glasgow who are looking for a contract Data Analyst. The role aims to define and implement an automated Market Surveillance solution and globally consistent framework.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands on data Analysis & reconciliation experience, exposure to trade flow and understanding of asset classes.

Role Responsibilities include:

- Working closely with the Front Office as well as technology teams
- Understanding the application's data requirements and analysis of Front Office trade MI reports and reconciliation with records loaded into the target platform.
- Taking ownership of data analysis to ensure the right quality of the data is made available to the application
- Provide stake holders and change teams with results

Key Requirements:

- Extensive experience in Data Analysis and Reconciliation
- Experienced in Excel (& optionally some SQL experience)
- Exposure to trade flow and understanding of asset classes
