Brook Street are currently working on behalf of our Global IT client to recruit a Contracts Coordinator/
Paralegal. This is a 6 month contract role based in central Cambridge.

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant. In addition, subject to qualification criteria, you will have the potential opportunity to earn bonus.

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum

Location: Cambridge

Role Purpose
* Responsible for maintaining existing Master Agreements, Software Licences, draft, review, finalise and follow-up with internal and external parties on all types of agreements ie Projects, Programs eg Research Collaborations with other Institutes, PhD Scholarship Program and Student Visitors.
* Responsible for the contracts database, filing and tracking all legal Master Agreements.
* Responsible in maintaining and updating Master Agreements Templates

Department Mission
* To support the company in it's mission to expand the state of the art in each of the areas in which we do research.
* Rapidly transfer innovative technologies into it's products. Ensure their businesses have a future.

Key areas of responsibility:
* Assisting and coordination contract and correspondence preparation (drafting, review, finalising), including processing, tracking and filing all contracts and licence agreements associated with Research Projects, PhD Scholarship and Fellow Program together with Visitor Program.
* Process student sponsorship letters for conference attendance.
* Processing and filing of Gift Letters.
* Responsible for administering requests from legal for updating and amending Master Agreement Templates.
* Assist in processing requests for modifications/amendments regarding contracts and implement changes where needed with the assistance of Legal, External Research, and Business Manager
* Identify and manage contracting needs required by various groups within the company.
* Serve as a liaison with Legal and other groups within the company.
* Follow issue escalation and resolution process.

* Manage the process in view of the Anti-Corruption & Visitor Policy.

Experience and Professional Qualification Requirements:

Essential:
* Experience with contracts management experience or related work field
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills required
* Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Database programs
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality required
* Ability to show respect for individuals in all situations and modelling this behaviour for others
