Contract Controller - Physical Crude/Products - Commodities Trading

World Leading Global Energy Trading Company has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Controller to join their Physical Crude and Products team.

Role responsibilities:

- Draft spot and term contracts in liaison with the Commercial Advisors.
- Generating contracts with the internal contract generation system
- Ensure all contracts for sales and purchases are drafted (or responded to) completely and unambiguously before dispatching/reverting to counterparties
- Follow up the deals post-dispatch to ensure that contract confirmations are sent and received
- Maintenance of the complete electronic deal record within FED incorporating each contract document including amendments and a record of the appropriate authorities obtained.
- Work closely with the Commercial Advisors
- Handle contract queries with 3rd parties on behalf of the trading floor where appropriate.

About You:

- 2+ years experience within a commodity trading/shipping environment
- A proven team player, with good social skills
- Keen to learn and develop your understanding of Physical/Products Trading

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
